Spectators: 6920 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gunnar Jönsson kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Johan Sjöberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. FC Klågerup's Börje Salqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Manchester United. After 6 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Hammarström. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gunnar Jönsson hit a great ball. Viggo Allbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigvard Hansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Viggo Allbom struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Sigvard Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Klågerup. If Viggo Allbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Östen Boberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigvard Hansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Östen Boberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24thth minute of the game Viggo Allbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Sigvard Hansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viggo Allbom in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigvard Hansson saved Manchester United from getting behind. Gunnar Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Ivan Säv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Klågerup's Olof Bagge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunnar Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Olof Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gunnar Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Allbom to make the kick off. Gunnar Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ivan Säv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Säv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olof Bagge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigvard Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Boberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute, Östen Boberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klågerup fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Östen Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Klågerup's Olof Bagge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Klågerup from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Allbom in the 73rd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Sigvard Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viggo Allbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Östen Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Hansson having to interfere. When Sven-Edvin Hammarström fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Hammarström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Sven-Edvin Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Allbom came free, but Sigvard Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Johan Sjöberg fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Johan Sjöberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Johan Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Viggo Allbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Klågerup were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Manchester United for a fine match.
