Kjell-Arne Hermansson started the match with the kick off. When Dick Ekman came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Klågerup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Ekman couldn't finish the play. Olof Bagge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Boberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Rosendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Allbom in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Hermansson in the 19th minute of play forced FC Klågerup's goalkeeper Olof Bagge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Livsfarliga Bolltrollare got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Axelsson. A collision led to Livsfarliga Bolltrollare getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Andreas Axelsson hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Klågerup's Börje Salqvist tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, FC Klågerup's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Hermansson came free, but Olof Bagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Bagge having to interfere. Andreas Axelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olof Bagge came out and tried to block the shot, but Andreas Axelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, FC Klågerup's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Hermansson came free, but Olof Bagge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Östen Boberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Mikael Rosendahl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elias Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Olof Bagge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Klågerup's zone, Elias Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Bagge came out of the goal and Elias Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th match minute, FC Klågerup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Viggo Allbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikael Rosendahl. That made the score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Klågerup defense, Kjell-Arne Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olof Bagge. The FC Klågerup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olof Bagge should have stopped the shot. FC Klågerup's Olof Bagge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Hermansson in the 90th minute of play.
