In the 5th minute of the match Manfred Göransson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bo Ersman skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Stefan Mickelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartå IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Mickelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Brander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Käcker hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Henning Brander was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emanuel Bammerman. Henning Brander made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Stefan Mickelsson sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Jörgen Käcker notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Svartå IFK's Bo Ersman. Bo Ersman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henning Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Lundström in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Daniel Sjöman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svartå IFK's Bo Ersman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Smulan's Daniel Sjöman got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörgen Käcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes, Daniel Sjöman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Svartå IFK's Bo Ersman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Dahlquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Ersman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Svartå IFK's zone, Daniel Sjöman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Ersman came out of the goal and Daniel Sjöman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Sjöman to strike the kick off in the second half. Svartå IFK's Bo Ersman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Svartå IFK from getting a goal against them. FC Smulan were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Svartå IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manfred Göransson took the corner. The corner ended in Manfred Göransson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Svartå IFK's Bo Ersman did a great save. When Daniel Sjöman came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FC Smulan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sjöman couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Daniel Sjöman took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Bo Ersman to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, FC Smulan's Eskil Asklöv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo Ersman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Mickelsson in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Smulan's goalkeeper Henning Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Mickelsson in the 85th minute of play forced FC Smulan's goalkeeper Henning Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henning Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Landin in the 86th minute of the match. Daniel Sjöman had several of the Svartå IFK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Bo Ersman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bo Ersman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Sjöman in the 95th minute. FC Smulan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
