Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) Djurgårdens IF's Kent Holmgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by Tommy Sjödin from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Thor Björnberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thor Björnberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Djurgårdens IF's Filiph Sävström got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Sävström in the 14th minute of play forced Djura IFK's goalkeeper Vilhelm Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes of play, Djurgårdens IF's Filiph Sävström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Samuelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thor Björnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Sundberg went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vilhelm Samuelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Holmgren in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Djura IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Holmgren came free, but Vilhelm Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Djura IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Sävström came free, but Vilhelm Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Hjalmar Andreasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thor Björnberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isak Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. Thor Björnberg came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Djura IFK's Isak Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Isak Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Evert Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Samuelsson made a huge save. Evert Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Djura IFK's Vilhelm Samuelsson got control of the ball when Evert Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isak Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Björnberg having to interfere. Karl-Ove Fagerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Ove Fagerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, Djurgårdens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Ove Fagerberg to maneuver through the defense. Djura IFK's Vilhelm Samuelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Djura IFK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Djura IFK's Vilhelm Samuelsson got control of the ball when Evert Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Jakobsson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Holmgren in the 76th minute of play forced Djura IFK's goalkeeper Vilhelm Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djurgårdens IF's Thor Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Abrahamsson in the 78th minute of play. Isak Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Thor Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frans Fagrell during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frans Fagrell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Kent Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Thor Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djurgårdens IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
