Fagervik FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Larsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Evert Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgårdens IF's zone, Matthias Norberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Björnberg came out of the goal and Matthias Norberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fagervik FF's Magnus Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thor Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Djurgårdens IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
