Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alf Sundström took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Nordmark during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Asmundtorp FF got a freekick which was hit by Tor Nordmark. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Alf Sundström put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jens Skoglund. Johnny Mossberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Nyström in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Trelleborg's zone, Alfons Bokelund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Mossberg came out of the goal and Alfons Bokelund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Nyström in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Mossberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birger Arhenius got free with Jens Skoglund in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Mossberg having to interfere. Johnny Mossberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Bokelund in the 26th minute of play. Alf Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Skoglund having to make a save. If Emanuel Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Asmundtorp FF's Alfons Bokelund in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Trelleborg's goalie prevented a goal.

Asmundtorp FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Trelleborg's Johnny Mossberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Bokelund in the 89th minute of play. Alfons Bokelund struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Johnny Mossberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asmundtorp FF. Jens Skoglund came out of the goal and Birger Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Skoglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Sundström in the 97th minute of play. Many of Asmundtorp FF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Asmundtorp FF may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Trelleborg were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
