After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Per-Åke Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orange Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Siggesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Egil Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidhult FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egil Engman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Lidhult FF fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Lidhult FF's Patrik Forss looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Orange Football Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Anders Hammarström hit a great ball. With his leg Jens-Ola Lindsten managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Lidhult FF's Dan Jonsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the match, Orange Football Club's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lindsten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Jonsson. With an all-out effort, Lidhult FF's Jens-Ola Lindsten threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patrik Forss, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anders Hammarström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Per-Åke Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Siggesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Vennersten made a kick off. Jens-Ola Lindsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jens-Ola Lindsten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lidhult FF. After having played for 64 minutes, Patrik Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidhult FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Forss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Orange Football Club's Herman Nilsson got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jens-Ola Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Forss in the 68th minute of the match. Per-Åke Björklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Niclas Siggesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
