Leo Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fred Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dick Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Valsjöbyn IFK's Leo Wallman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Valsjöbyn IFK's Håkan Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Sandström in the 31st minute of play. Jon Njurenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dick Brummer might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Håkan Kristiansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dick Brummer ran back to his position shaking his head. When Leo Wallman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Valsjöbyn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Wallman couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Dick Brummer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Assassins FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Nova Assassins FC's Christer Hallgren got a free kick in the 45th minute. Nova Assassins FC's Fred Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Assassins FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Njurenius to make the kick off. Håkan Kristiansson came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Assassins FC's Dick Brummer. But to his dismay, Dick Brummer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 63 minutes into the game, Christer Hallgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Valsjöbyn IFK's Joakim Björck quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 64th match minute, Valsjöbyn IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Wallman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Sandström in the 66th minute of play forced Valsjöbyn IFK's goalkeeper Håkan Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Jon Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Josefsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Leo Wallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fred Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Claes Ambjörnsson in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valsjöbyn IFK's Joakim Björck. Dick Brummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Kristiansson having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Jan-Åke Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes, Nova Assassins FC's Edwin Rydelius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Håkan Kristiansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Assassins FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Valsjöbyn IFK's David Fristedt got a free kick in the 88th minute. Valsjöbyn IFK's Håkan Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Valsjöbyn IFK from getting a goal against them. Håkan Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Dick Brummer sent off a good shot on target.
