Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt-Arne Sandström kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Brummer got free with Allan Lundgren in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bengt-Arne Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lundgren having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Loftahammar IK got a freekick which was hit by Holger Säfström. 15 minutes into the match, Loftahammar IK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Sandström came free, but Allan Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dick Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Sandström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loftahammar IK's Allan Lundgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dick Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Loftahammar IK's goalkeeper Allan Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Brummer. The supporters of Nova Assassins FC booed when Loftahammar IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dick Brummer struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Allan Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Assassins FC. When Nova Assassins FC's Bengt-Arne Sandström in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Allan Lundgren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Kevin Helström charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Helström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kevin Helström hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Bengt-Arne Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Lundgren having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Bolin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nova Assassins FC's goalkeeper Fred Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Bolin. After 54 played minutes Nova Assassins FC got a freekick which was hit by Christer Hallgren. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Assassins FC's zone, Holger Säfström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Josefsson came out of the goal and Holger Säfström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Nova Assassins FC's goalkeeper Fred Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvar Bäckman. Alvar Bäckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Josefsson having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Allan Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Sixten Österlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Nova Assassins FC's Christer Hallgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Allan Lundgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Assassins FC reached it. In the 78th minute, Alvar Bäckman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dick Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Dick Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bengt-Arne Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loftahammar IK's Allan Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Sandström in the 94th minute of play.
