Spectators: 7092 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jack Ingemarsson started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Sommen RK's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Ingemarsson came free, but Lars Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sommen RK's Lars Rudberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sommen RK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sommen RK's Per Löfgren got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jack Ingemarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Rudberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tommy Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havdhem FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Rudberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lars Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ingemarsson in the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute Jack Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Rudberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Rudberg having to interfere. Tommy Björklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Rudberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Markus Lagerberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Tommy Björklund could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Lars Rudberg however easily saved by the left post. In the 40th minute, Kåre Granberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sommen RK's Kåre Granberg got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Sommen RK's Lars Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ingemarsson in the 44th minute of play. Tommy Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Lars Rudberg made a huge save. Jack Ingemarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 59th match minute, Sommen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Bratt to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Havdhem FF's goalkeeper Olov Wennerquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lars Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ingemarsson in the 70th minute of play. If Jack Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Jack Ingemarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars Rudberg. Sommen RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jack Ingemarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 90th minute, Tommy Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jack Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lars Rudberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
