Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Villands Vånga's Kent Bengtsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Joar Berg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Villands Vånga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joar Berg couldn't finish the play. Villands Vånga's Karl-Michael Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Robert Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig Nordin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Nordin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Höganäs RK got a freekick which was hit by Stig Nordin. After a rather tough play, Höganäs RK's Åke Sellberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Bernt Andersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Hake skillfully saved the ball. If Joar Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joar Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Hake having to interfere. Kent Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Kenneth Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Villands Vånga getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Olof Ahlerot hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Villands Vånga's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kenneth Wassenius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Åke Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villands Vånga's Bernt Andersson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Höganäs RK. Robert Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Berg in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Villands Vånga booed when Höganäs RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Kent Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villands Vånga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Åke Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Joar Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villands Vånga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joar Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karl-Michael Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Nordin was the one to do the kick off. If Joar Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Åke Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Kent Bengtsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joar Berg struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Robert Hake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villands Vånga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Sjögren during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th minute, Isac Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Kenneth Wassenius made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Ekrot. Villands Vånga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Joar Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Robert Hake made a huge save. Kenneth Wassenius kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Villands Vånga booed when Höganäs RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Höganäs RK's zone, Kent Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Hake came out of the goal and Kent Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joar Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Robert Hake managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Villands Vånga's Joar Berg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ove Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
