Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Magnus Bergren to make the kick off. Ronaldo Xl's Marko Bäckström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nils-Åke Persson but with some difficulty. Magne Ahlroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nils Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Magne Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Allan Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erland Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Åke Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Svensson in the 84th minute. Allan Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Åke Persson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. Allan Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Erland Pilblad made a precise shot to the right of Nils Askelöf. Ronaldo Xl's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Chants of Ronaldo Xl echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pålsboda Goif had held the ball for most of the match.
