If Stefan Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Viggo Bergqvist fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungbyholm FK's protests and gave Viggo Bergqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Skanör BF booed when Ljungbyholm FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Kevin Olsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victor Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Olsson in the 29th minute of the match. Kevin Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Martinsson having to interfere. Skanör BF's Svante Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Olsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Martinsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Olsson made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Skanör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Hultman came free, but Victor Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ljungbyholm FK booed when Skanör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Hultman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kevin Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victor Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skanör BF's Victor Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hultman in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Kevin Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Olsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Martinsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Hultman's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Marko Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Kevin Olsson took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Martinsson. Victor Martinsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Victor Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunnar Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Martinsson having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ljungbyholm FK fully deserved thier win.
