Edgar Ekrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ljungbyholm FK. After 20 played minutes Ljungbyholm FK got a freekick which was hit by Elias Algren. After 24 played minutes Kevin Olsson could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. In the 28th minute, Mattias Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Totenkopf FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunnar Hultman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Edvin Abelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Ekenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fredric Käcker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Olsson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunnar Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Ekrot having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kevin Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Ekrot was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Olsson in the 48th minute of play forced Totenkopf FC's goalkeeper Edgar Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Olsson made a kick off. Kevin Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Gunnar Hultman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Ahlquist hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gunnar Hultman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungbyholm FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Hultman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Ljungbyholm FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elliott Sjögren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ljungbyholm FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Totenkopf FC the free kick. The supporters of Totenkopf FC booed when Ljungbyholm FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Edvin Abelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungbyholm FK's Mathias Ekenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Ljungbyholm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Ekrot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Hultman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Fredric Käcker helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Ljungbyholm FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
