Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Vassenius in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Westerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Folke Gadd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Ivar Westerstrand made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo-Erik Strömberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Bo-Erik Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
