In the 16th minute, Mårten Julin made a precise shot to the right of Timmy Ennegren. Playboy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The tension between the Herrljunga and the Playboy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mårten Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Timmy Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Anton Hurtig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playboy and the Herrljunga players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Playboy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 44 minutes into the match, Playboy's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Haglund came free, but Timmy Ennegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Håkan Ekegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Playboy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herrljunga the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Björn Ström during the 53rd minute. The supporters of Playboy booed when Herrljunga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Haglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Playboy's Ingvar Hägg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zebastian Kämpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 81 played minutes, Herrljunga's Pelle Smedfeldt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timmy Ennegren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herrljunga reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anders Henriksson in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zebastian Kämpe saved Herrljunga from getting behind. Bo-Erik Haglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Timmy Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Björn Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Herrljunga's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Herrljunga may have spent more time on the ball, but Playboy were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
