Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils Fredriksson started the match with the kick off. Nils Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Linberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ljusterö RK's Patric Ekerot got a free kick in the 6th minute. Krister Dahlman's late challenge caught a HAMMARBY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krister Dahlman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ljusterö RK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Krister Dahlman hit a great ball. Okey Elin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sonny Linberg. Ljusterö RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Torbjörn Molander hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Nils Fredriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Linberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Torbjörn Molander helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of HAMMARBY booed when Ljusterö RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Molander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Åke Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dick Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ljusterö RK's Valentin Sjöman got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Ljusterö RK got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Molander. 38 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Nordin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dick Askelöf. HAMMARBY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils-Åke Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Fredriksson in the 42nd minute of play forced Ljusterö RK's goalkeeper Sonny Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Linberg having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ljusterö RK defense, Nils Fredriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Linberg. The Ljusterö RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Linberg should have stopped the shot. Nils-Åke Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Sjöman to strike the kick off in the second half. Nils Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Linberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patric Ekerot during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casper Martinsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Linberg having to make a save. Nils Fredriksson in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sonny Linberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ljusterö RK's zone, Okey Elin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Linberg came out of the goal and Okey Elin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patric Ekerot hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dick Askelöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Sjöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ljusterö RK's Sonny Linberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ljusterö RK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Fredriksson in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Linberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. HAMMARBY were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
