The referee ignored BK Flis's protests and gave Kjell Petersson a yellow card for diving instead. Kjell Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dennis Ståhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hamrångefjärden RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Ståhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Flink breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Hamrångefjärden RK got a freekick which was hit by Anton Björk. Brian Flink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Malmgren in the 15th minute of play. Tomas Snäll made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Alexander Tham sent off a good shot on target. Kjell Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Snäll having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Anton Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamrångefjärden RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Flis the free kick. Anton Björk kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Kjell Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Flis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamrångefjärden RK's Tomas Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hamrångefjärden RK from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Ståhlberg during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alexander Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Torsten Lundgren's late challenge caught a Hamrångefjärden RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torsten Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BK Flis getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Torsten Lundgren hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, BK Flis's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Ståhlberg came free, but Brian Flink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Flink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Ståhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Petersson made a kick off. Alexander Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Ståhlberg was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 58 minutes into the game, BK Flis's Kjell Petersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Snäll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Torsten Lundgren hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Gustaf Malmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, BK Flis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Tham to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Hamrångefjärden RK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Petersson came free, but Tomas Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Tham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tomas Snäll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
