When Fiffel FC's Benjamin Enström in 8 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kenny Ekberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Hjortberg in the 9th minute of play forced Västerås SK's goalkeeper Kenny Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, Västerås SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Igelström to maneuver through the defense. Västerås SK's Kenny Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Enström in the 14th minute of play. Robin Snäll's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Göran Holmberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kenny Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Enström, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Västerås SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bertil Viberg hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Peter Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerås SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Åkesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Benjamin Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiffel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Enström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kenny Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Ekberg having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fiffel FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
