In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Sennan. Jakob Sörman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bertil Sjöberg. 0-1. Hjalmar Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mark Åström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Unesson kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulf Bank in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Sjöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ulf Bank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Säffle AIK's goalkeeper Bertil Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Bank in the 29th minute of play forced Säffle AIK's goalkeeper Bertil Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Säffle AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Danielsson came free, but Bertil Sjöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Danielsson in the 41st minute of play. Ulf Bank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bertil Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Nils Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Ulf Bank notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Säffle AIK's Bertil Sjöberg. Bertil Sjöberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nils Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Sjöberg having to interfere. When Nils Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Sennan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Danielsson couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Säffle AIK's goalkeeper Bertil Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulf Bank's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Sjöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Nils Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bertil Sjöberg managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Sennan's Ulf Bank fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ulf Bank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bertil Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
