The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Tor Bäcklin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromma FK and the Skövde Vikings FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Bromma FK's protests and gave Casper Andberg a yellow card for diving instead. Casper Andberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tomas Ahlfors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bromma FK's Sven Kollberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Harald Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Ahlfors struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Sven Kollberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skövde Vikings FC. With a left leg Sven Kollberg saved Bromma FK from getting behind. 79 minutes in the game, Tomas Ahlfors dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Christoffer Kvick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Sefastsson in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Bromma FK defense, Tomas Ahlfors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Kollberg. The Bromma FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Kollberg should have stopped the shot. Sten Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skövde Vikings FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
