Spectators: 7250 (Terracing: 5439, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Vrena's Henning Berggren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, David Sandwall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rångedala BF and the Vrena players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rångedala BF's David Sandwall got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Dick Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rångedala BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernt Dahlquist in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bernt Dahlquist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ludvig Björkkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pär Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Henning Berggren fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dick Söderberg, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henning Berggren in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dick Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henning Berggren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pär Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Rångedala BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Jonsson couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Henning Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vrena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rångedala BF the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Vrena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Berggren to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Magnus Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Bernt Dahlquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ludvig Björkkvist skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pär Jonsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Pär Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Per Helander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rångedala BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Helander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rångedala BF's Pär Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludvig Björkkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Jonsson in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Rångedala BF's Per Helander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludvig Björkkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ludvig Björkkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Helander in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vrena's zone, Pär Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludvig Björkkvist came out of the goal and Pär Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Pär Jonsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ludvig Björkkvist, passed just outside the right post. Ludvig Björkkvist made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Per Helander sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 96 minutes, Tim Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vrena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
