Edmund Danielsson had several of the Vrena's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ludvig Björkkvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Stångby BK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gaston Etxepare hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Egil Colin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ludvig Björkkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egil Colin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ludvig Björkkvist 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Sjöberg in the 20th minute of play forced Stångby BK's goalkeeper Edmund Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Danielsson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludvig Björkkvist saved Vrena from getting behind. Stångby BK's Egil Colin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Vrena's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Danielsson came free, but Ludvig Björkkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Åkerberg in the 35th minute of play forced Stångby BK's goalkeeper Edmund Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Danielsson charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Danielsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Danielsson to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Egil Colin made a precise shot to the right of Ludvig Björkkvist. Vrena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Viggo Lägdin kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Vrena's Tim Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Stångby BK got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Etxepare. Stångby BK's Edmund Österberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Stångby BK from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Stångby BK's Ulrik Hydén seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ulrik Hydén the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Stångby BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ulrik Hydén had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stångby BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Edmund Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stångby BK's Edmund Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Berggren in the 84th minute of play. When Stångby BK's Egil Colin in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vrena's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 played minutes Vrena got a freekick which was hit by Ove Eriksson. Henning Berggren's late challenge caught a Stångby BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Berggren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vrena's Henning Berggren got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Egil Colin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stångby BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vrena for a fine match.
