Hjalmar Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 47th minute, André Kullander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellös FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Kullander to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Pär Jonsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pär Jonsson in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Sjögren saved Ellös FK from getting behind. With a little luck, Ellös FK's Hjalmar Sjögren got control of the ball when Per Helander tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pär Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hjalmar Sjögren was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Per Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pär Henriksson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Pär Henriksson's late challenge caught a Rångedala BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pär Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes in the game, Pär Jonsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hjalmar Sjögren having to interfere. Dick Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Kullander in the 79th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Per Helander notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ellös FK's Hjalmar Sjögren. Hjalmar Sjögren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per Helander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
