In the 33rd minute, Edvard Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kalle Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Åkerman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Axel Bivall struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Henry Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diffen IF. In the 44thth minute of the game Kalle Biörnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdemarsvik BF's Henry Ugla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Henry Ugla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Valdemarsvik BF's Thor Åkerman got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Kalle Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Joachim Ugla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diffen IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Ugla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Biörnberg in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Ugla saved Valdemarsvik BF from getting behind. Axel Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Ugla having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Thor Åkerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdemarsvik BF and the Diffen IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thor Åkerman hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Kalle Biörnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Ahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Axel Bivall came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Diffen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Bivall couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Bivall in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Ugla saved Valdemarsvik BF from getting behind. Henry Ugla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Valdemarsvik BF's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Biörnberg came free, but Henry Ugla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Diffen IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valdemarsvik BF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
