Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Axel Bivall started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Brunk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Biörnberg came free, but Göran Thidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Kollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Göran Thidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Ugla in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Brunk FC's Göran Thidén got control of the ball when Axel Bivall tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Brunk FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Adrian Holmgren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Bredberg in the 31st minute of play forced Diffen IF's goalkeeper Daniel Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Axel Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Kollberg hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Fred Browald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brunk FC's Göran Thidén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fred Browald came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Diffen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Browald couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Diffen IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Brandin to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Hansson to make the kick off. Kalle Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göran Thidén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Biörnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bror Alberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Diffen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Hansson came free, but Daniel Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kalle Biörnberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Göran Thidén having to make a save. Daniel Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Hansson in the 75th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Joachim Ugla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kalle Biörnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Göran Thidén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Diffen IF defense, Sören Kollberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Bengtsson. The Diffen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. Daniel Bengtsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Bredberg in the 95th minute. Daniel Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Bertil Bredberg sent off a good shot on target. Brunk FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
