Pelle Häger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Brask in the 7th minute of the match. If Thomas Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joacim Kjellqvist to make the kick off. When Mattias Broman came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ransäter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Broman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ransäter booed when Sparreholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Sparreholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Skålberg to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sparreholm were victorious despite being under pressure from Ransäter for much of the match.
