Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leo Söderberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tonino Galov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, FC Merkelen BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, FC Merkelen BoIS's goalkeeper Kalle Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tonino Galov. 12 minutes into the match, Glenn Hysén dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kalle Lindholm, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonino Galov in the 16th minute of play forced FC Merkelen BoIS's goalkeeper Kalle Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalle Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Åkesson in the 21st minute of play. Kalle Lindholm came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Toon Army's Kyle Eglington. But to his dismay, Kyle Eglington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Morgan Åkesson struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kalle Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toon Army. In the 27th minute, Toon Army's Kyle Eglington ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kalle Lindholm. Kalle Lindholm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Eglington in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalle Lindholm saved FC Merkelen BoIS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Merkelen BoIS's zone, Tonino Galov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Lindholm came out of the goal and Tonino Galov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toon Army's Tonino Galov got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tonino Galov hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Toon Army's Morgan Åkesson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalle Lindholm was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Kyle Eglington made the kick off in the second half. Kalle Lindholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Eglington went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Tonino Galov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toon Army's supporters rose to their feet, but Tonino Galov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Larsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Larsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes FC Merkelen BoIS got a freekick which was hit by Roger Larsson. Kyle Eglington struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kalle Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toon Army. Kalle Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tonino Galov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kalle Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marciano Obeko took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Lindholm. Kalle Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Merkelen BoIS's zone, Morgan Åkesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalle Lindholm came out of the goal and Morgan Åkesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Toon Army's Ståle Stolpe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kalle Lindholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Myr in the 76th minute of play forced Toon Army's goalkeeper Juan Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Leo Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Kyle Eglington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Morgan Åkesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalle Lindholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Morgan Åkesson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 85 minutes, Kyle Eglington made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Merkelen BoIS's Kalle Lindholm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kalle Lindholm came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Toon Army's Morgan Åkesson. But to his dismay, Morgan Åkesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 92nd match minute, FC Merkelen BoIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Morgan Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kalle Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Eglington in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Toon Army players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
