The Gällstad IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. If Algot Willig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gällstad IK were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Getinge RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustaf Hammarström took the corner. In the 26thth minute of the game Algot Willig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällstad IK's Henrik Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henrik Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Melker Alströmmer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Henrik Lundqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Getinge RK. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Arenberg to make the kick off. Algot Willig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Lundqvist having to make a save. Alfred Nyman's late challenge caught a Gällstad IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the game, one of Getinge RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Gällstad IK. Gustaf Hammarström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Len Lightfoot. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Getinge RK's Leo Axelsson got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Skytt in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Lightfoot saved Getinge RK from getting behind. Melker Alströmmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexander Hedin struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Len Lightfoot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gällstad IK. Alexander Hedin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Henrik Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
