Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evert Pihlwall took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Getinge RK's Thor Brun threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Algot Willig, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thor Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Axelsson in the 9th minute of play. Per-Olof Lövskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Juniorer defense, Melker Alströmmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thor Brun. The Juniorer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thor Brun should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Algot Willig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Len Lightfoot having to interfere. Juniorer's Per-Olof Lövskog got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thor Brun came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Getinge RK's Algot Willig. But to his dismay, Algot Willig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Juniorer's Evert Pihlwall in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Getinge RK's goalie prevented a goal. When Evert Pihlwall came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Juniorer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Pihlwall couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Algot Willig made a kick off. A collision led to Getinge RK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kennet Harman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Juniorer's Tim Sjödin got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 57 played minutes Getinge RK got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Harman. 59 minutes into the match, Juniorer's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Willig came free, but Thor Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Getinge RK's Algot Willig got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Evert Pihlwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Kennet Harman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim Sjödin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Melker Alströmmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
