Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mårten Aleberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 9 minutes into the match, Gällstad IK's Valentin Skytt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Helberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mårten Aleberg came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Kovland IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Aleberg couldn't finish the play. Mårten Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Lundqvist having to interfere. The supporters of Kovland IF booed when Gällstad IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Skålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Arne Vennerberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henrik Lundqvist. Gällstad IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mårten Aleberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Lundqvist was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Sandberg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Lundqvist saved Gällstad IK from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Kovland IF got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Friberger. In the 29th match minute, Gällstad IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Hedin to maneuver through the defense. Mårten Aleberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddie Arenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Arenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gällstad IK's Eddie Arenberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. Eric Ahlquist's late challenge caught a Gällstad IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Ahlquist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kovland IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eric Ahlquist hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Rudberg during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Kovland IF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Rudberg. In the 46th minute Gällstad IK were awarded a corner. Gustaf Hammarström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gustaf Hammarström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kovland IF's Arman Helberg did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Henrik Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eddie Arenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gällstad IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Arenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Helberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andreas Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kovland IF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Andreas Sandberg hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Andreas Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovland IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Vacker's late challenge caught a Kovland IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Vacker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gällstad IK's Gabriel Vacker got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Skytt got free with Arman Helberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mårten Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Kovland IF getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Per-Arne Vennerberg hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Gustaf Hammarström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arman Helberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Kovland IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Aleberg to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Gällstad IK's Gustaf Hammarström in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 90th match minute, Kovland IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, William Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
