In the 14th minute Jörgen Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrik Vennerström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kåre Wennersten hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Sven-Åke Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Njurenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gottfrid Njurenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfrid Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erling Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Kvick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Erling Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Melinens Bollar's zone, Gottfrid Njurenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erling Hermansson came out of the goal and Gottfrid Njurenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Åke Kvick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Hermansson having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Kvick to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vincent Ek notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Melinens Bollar's Erling Hermansson. Erling Hermansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 59 minutes, Sven-Åke Kvick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sjuntorparna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Åke Kvick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tage Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Erling Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Njurenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rolf Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Jörgen Gustavsson came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Melinens Bollar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Gustavsson couldn't finish the play. Gottfrid Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Hermansson having to interfere. Erling Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Kvick in the 70th minute of the match. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gottfrid Njurenius managed to get in a good position for a shot. sjuntorparna's supporters rose to their feet, but Gottfrid Njurenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erling Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Kvick in the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. sjuntorparna had played much better football throughout.
