Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 35) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rune Hedbom got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Grycksbo FF's zone, Richard Eskilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Damm came out of the goal and Richard Eskilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Valsjöbyn BF fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Valsjöbyn BF's Harald Sundström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute, Douglas Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Grycksbo FF getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sigvard Nordgren hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Harald Sundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Eskilsson scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Damm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harald Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Damm having to interfere. Jan-Erik Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Eskilsson in the 30th minute of the match. Harald Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Eskilsson in the 34th minute of play forced Grycksbo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Richard Eskilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Eskilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Sundström in the 43rd minute of play forced Grycksbo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Harald Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valsjöbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Harald Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Eskilsson to make the kick off. Jan-Erik Damm made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Harald Sundström sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Grycksbo FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rune Hedbom hit a great ball. 57 minutes in the game, Jonathan Eliasson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jan-Erik Damm having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Valsjöbyn BF's Richard Eskilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Erik Damm. That made the score 0-3 after 60 minutes of play. Richard Eskilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Harald Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Richard Eskilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Erik Damm was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Jan-Erik Damm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Sundström in the 75th minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Harald Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valsjöbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Eskilsson got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jan-Erik Damm handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Richard Eskilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grycksbo FF's Jan-Erik Damm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Douglas Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valsjöbyn BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Douglas Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Damm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Erik Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Eskilsson in the 89th minute of play. Harald Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Eskilsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Erik Damm. That made the score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. The Grycksbo FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valsjöbyn BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
