Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Niclas Kruuse came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skyttorp FK's Sune Hellström. But to his dismay, Sune Hellström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Isak Larsson came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Munka-Ljungby RK's Alf Biörk. But to his dismay, Alf Biörk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Eskil Falkrantz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munka-Ljungby RK's protests and gave Eskil Falkrantz a yellow card for diving instead. Eskil Falkrantz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Peter Asplund struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Niclas Kruuse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skyttorp FK. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skyttorp FK's goalkeeper Isak Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isak Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Biörk in the 24th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Munka-Ljungby RK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Kjellqvist. In the 32nd minute of the match Jack Askstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niclas Kruuse skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Sjöman in the 38th minute of play forced Skyttorp FK's goalkeeper Isak Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Biörk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alf Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Asplund to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Jens Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Skyttorp FK booed when Munka-Ljungby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Alf Biörk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skyttorp FK's Isak Larsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alf Biörk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Isak Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Skyttorp FK's Sune Hellström got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Mikael Ahlgren fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munka-Ljungby RK's protests and gave Mikael Ahlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes, Alf Biörk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munka-Ljungby RK and the Skyttorp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alf Biörk kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Asplund in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Kruuse saved Munka-Ljungby RK from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Eskil Falkrantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens Kvick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Skyttorp FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Hellström to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Sune Hellström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Biörk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Isak Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Bo Sjöman lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Isak Larsson. In the 87th minute of the match, Bo Sjöman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isak Larsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vidar Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Munka-Ljungby RK's zone, Jens Kvick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niclas Kruuse came out of the goal and Jens Kvick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Munka-Ljungby RK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skyttorp FK throughout the match.
