When Jakob Wik, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jimmy Brander was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Jakob Wik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josef Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Karl-Ove Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wied-iz-Zurrieq United defense, Jonatan Bern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Ove Norberg. The Wied-iz-Zurrieq United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Norberg should have stopped the shot. Felix Lindström's late challenge caught a Liverpool HellHounds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Felix Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Jakob Wik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 28 minutes of play Wied-iz-Zurrieq United's Felix Lindström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Felix Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Liverpool HellHounds's Jimmy Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Wik in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Jonatan Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josef Wallander might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Ove Norberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Wallander ran back to his position shaking his head. Wied-iz-Zurrieq United's Karl-Ove Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Bern in the 36th minute of play. Josef Wallander struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Karl-Ove Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool HellHounds. If Jonatan Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Wallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Norberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Bern in the 47th minute of play forced Wied-iz-Zurrieq United's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Josef Wallander in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Ove Norberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jakob Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Josef Wallander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverpool HellHounds's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Wallander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Ove Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Leonard Lundhberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jonatan Bern managed to get in a good position for a shot. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Markusson during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Liverpool HellHounds booed when Wied-iz-Zurrieq United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Markusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Liverpool HellHounds's Josef Wallander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Ove Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool HellHounds's Jonatan Bern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Ove Norberg. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. In the 93rd minute Jonatan Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Liverpool HellHounds players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
