Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Legends FC's Emanuel Nordström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Leif Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Nordström. Sven-Olof Bergkvist hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Mats Billing shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Johan Martinsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Leif Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Söderberg in the 43rd minute of the match. Legends FC's Konrad Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven Bäck kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Per Stigsson made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stigsson in the 54th minute of play. Leif Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Martinsson made a huge save. Leif Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Karl-Johan Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunnarsbyn. With a little luck, Legends FC's Karl-Johan Martinsson got control of the ball when Leif Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Gunnarsbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Sjögren came free, but Sören Termander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Stigsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Sven Bäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnarsbyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legends FC the free kick. Sven Bäck hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Hansson in the 77th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Martinsson came out of the goal and Per Stigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Söderberg got free with Karl-Johan Martinsson in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Isak Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legends FC's protests and gave Isak Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. Isak Jakobsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Martinsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rickard Nordkvist. The Gunnarsbyn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gunnarsbyn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
