Ingvar Jonsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Hafström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Jonsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Georg Bokelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adolf FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Georg Bokelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Erik Ek was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Wictor Ros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Ek having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Patrik Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Erik Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Wictor Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Bokelund scored 1-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Erik Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Jonsson to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Niclas Gulliksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilafors and the Adolf FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kilafors getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Niclas Gulliksson hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, one of Kilafors:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johannes Nordkvist shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Wictor Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Per-Erik Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kilafors's Per-Erik Ek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Bokelund in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Adolf FC's Alexander Borre got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes Kilafors got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Frisk. 77 minutes into the match, Adolf FC's Georg Bokelund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Erik Ek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wictor Ros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Erik Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Sven-Edvin Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Jonsson in the 82nd minute of the match. Niclas Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Hafström having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Niclas Gulliksson in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 99th minute, Wictor Ros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Erik Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6.
