Viktor Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Backman having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Batman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Brovall came free, but Sigvard Löfdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Viktor Berglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Oskar Backman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bror Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sigvard Löfdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Viktor Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Batman FC defense, Bror Danielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Löfdahl. The Batman FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Löfdahl should have stopped the shot. Leonard Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Backman having to interfere. Bror Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Löfdahl having to interfere. In the 44th minute Bror Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Löfdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Esbjörn Brovall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sigvard Löfdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esbjörn Brovall's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bror Danielsson made a kick off. If Esbjörn Brovall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Ennegren in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Leonard Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Herman Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskar Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Ennegren in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Batman FC's goalkeeper Sigvard Löfdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esbjörn Brovall. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Esbjörn Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jubilo Iwata's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Brovall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Löfdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Batman FC's goalkeeper Sigvard Löfdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Esbjörn Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jubilo Iwata's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Brovall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Löfdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Jubilo Iwata's Esbjörn Brovall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sigvard Löfdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Viktor Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Ennegren in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Batman FC's Pelle Österlund got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Jubilo Iwata's Claes Lingren tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A hard shot 96 in the game by Esbjörn Brovall from a close distance when the talented Sigvard Löfdahl managed to make a qualified save. Batman FC's players were relieved. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
