The crowd rose to their feet as Bernt Andersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Vestlund. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Västerhaninge IF's goalkeeper Richard Vestlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Holm got free with Charles Lindgren in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Dan Stephansson made a precise shot to the right of Richard Vestlund. Västerhaninge IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dan Stephansson took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Vestlund. Richard Vestlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Älta RK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Västerhaninge IF for a fine match.
