Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Bernt Lindqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fred Tinglöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Holm in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Björn Ekgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Arne Alkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Ekgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Richard Vestlund made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Kvidinge's Arvid Kjellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Vestlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Björn Ekgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvidinge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Ekgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Philip Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Tinglöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fred Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Philip Holm made a precise shot to the right of Fred Tinglöv. Kvidinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Arvid Kjellberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Richard Vestlund, 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Västerhaninge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Kjellberg came free, but Richard Vestlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kvidinge's Birger Lövskog shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Richard Vestlund but with some difficulty. Kvidinge's Arvid Kjellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Kjellberg to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Philip Holm notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kvidinge's Fred Tinglöv. Fred Tinglöv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Philip Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fred Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Tinglöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Lindqvist in the 65th minute of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Philip Holm from a close distance when the talented Fred Tinglöv managed to make a qualified save. Kvidinge's players were relieved. Arvid Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Richard Vestlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Lindqvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Kvidinge's goalkeeper Fred Tinglöv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Kjellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Richard Vestlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Philip Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Västerhaninge IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Bernt Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Västerhaninge IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes in the game, Bernt Lindqvist fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fred Tinglöv having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Västerhaninge IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
