Fred Tinglöv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Stephansson in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Kjellberg in the 15th minute of play forced Älta RK's goalkeeper Charles Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fred Tinglöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Älta RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Valström to maneuver through the defense. Charles Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mossberg in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jens-Ola Melander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Älta RK defense, Arvid Kjellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Lindgren. The Älta RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Bernt Andersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Tinglöv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dan Stephansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Kvidinge's Björn Ekgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 41 minutes, Åke Drake mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvidinge and the Älta RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Älta RK's Dan Stephansson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Hedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lindgren having to interfere. The supporters of Kvidinge booed when Älta RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Melander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Emanuel Mossberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Älta RK's Charles Lindgren didn't even have to move. After the first half Kvidinge were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dan Stephansson made the kick off in the second half. Björn Ekgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Charles Lindgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kvidinge's zone, Dan Stephansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Tinglöv came out of the goal and Dan Stephansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Älta RK's Dan Stephansson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Kjellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anton Mellbad fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älta RK's protests and gave Anton Mellbad a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Kvidinge a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Mossberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Älta RK's Charles Lindgren. 0-3. A collision led to Kvidinge getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leif Hedin hit a great ball. Jens-Ola Melander's late challenge caught a Kvidinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Melander helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Älta RK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jens-Ola Melander hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kvidinge's Emanuel Mossberg tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arvid Kjellberg struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Charles Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvidinge. Arvid Kjellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lindgren having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Kvidinge's Arvid Kjellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
