Pelle Mellbad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Carl Stabbe made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Nils-Erik Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GT S BOYS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trädgårdsstadens IF the free kick. Nils-Erik Fransson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Carl Stabbe was a little too slow when Bengt Benet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. 34 minutes into the game, Anders Wikander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trädgårdsstadens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GT S BOYS the free kick. Erik Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Forsberg in the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Otto Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Erik Fågel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Trädgårdsstadens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Engman came free, but Erik Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Trädgårdsstadens IF getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ian Morat hit a great ball. Billy Engman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Fågel having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Carl Stabbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Mellbad in the 52nd minute of play. Pelle Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Stabbe having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Joseph Snäll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GT S BOYS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trädgårdsstadens IF the free kick. After 69 minutes of play GT S BOYS's Nils-Erik Fransson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, GT S BOYS's Nils-Erik Fransson got a free kick in the 70th minute. Carl Stabbe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Benet in the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Billy Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot. GT S BOYS's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Engman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Fågel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Otto Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. If Pelle Mellbad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt Benet in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Stabbe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Bengt Benet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Carl Stabbe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
