Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 7) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kjell-Arne Myr kicked off to start the match. Östen Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Myr in the 3rd minute of the match. Sören Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Berglund having to interfere. Fritz Nordstedt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Östen Deckbergh. Mullsjö's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fredriksdal FK's Stig-Åke Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Asklöv in the 14th minute of play. Stig-Åke Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Stig-Åke Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Berglund having to interfere. Frank Hurtig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Östen Deckbergh made a huge save. Stig-Åke Berglund came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Mullsjö's Ulf Jonasson. But to his dismay, Ulf Jonasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Fredriksdal FK booed when Mullsjö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Fredriksdal FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Sigman to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Håkan Asklöv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fredriksdal FK's Stig-Åke Berglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulf Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Berglund having to interfere. Ulf Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Stig-Åke Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Jonasson was the one to do the kick off. Ian Överman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 51st playminute. When Sören Busk fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mullsjö's protests and gave Sören Busk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mullsjö's Sören Busk got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 62 played minutes Mullsjö got a freekick which was hit by Sören Busk. In the 69th minute, Håkan Asklöv reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stig-Åke Berglund. The goal made the score 1-3. Håkan Asklöv took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Åke Berglund. Stig-Åke Berglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Håkan Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Överman struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Stig-Åke Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mullsjö. Ian Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stig-Åke Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Berglund having to interfere. With a little luck, Fredriksdal FK's Stig-Åke Berglund got control of the ball when Håkan Asklöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Mullsjö could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fredriksdal FK throughout the match.
