The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Hemavan FF's zone, Sakarias Westerstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Björkqvist came out of the goal and Sakarias Westerstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Rudqvist in the 20th minute of play forced Hemavan FF's goalkeeper Lucas Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Idas's zone, Kåre Hagberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Arvidsson came out of the goal and Kåre Hagberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes, Simon Billström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Idas and the Hemavan FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nils Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Söderström in the 25th minute of the match. Idas's Simon Billström got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Simon Billström off the ground. In the 26th match minute, Idas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Billström to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Robin Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hemavan FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Robin Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jens-Åke Rudqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Svartengren kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Håkan Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Hagberg scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils Arvidsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robin Söderström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Kåre Hagberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Rudqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucas Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Björkqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Åke Rudqvist in the 78th minute. When Kåre Hagberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hemavan FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kåre Hagberg couldn't finish the play. Nils Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Håkan Josefsson, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hemavan FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
