The Timrå RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristian Söderqwist during the 11th minute. Richard Hegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Österlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Timrå RK's Måns Skytt got a free kick in the 14th minute. Anders Mossberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Richard Hegg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timrå RK. Nils-Åke Björkkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Olof Offendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Råå FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timrå RK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klas Österlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Dahlqvist's late challenge caught a Timrå RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Dahlqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Råå FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Robin Dahlqvist hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Timrå RK got a freekick which was hit by Klas Österlund. Bernt Hylander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olof Offendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ragnar Forssberg's late challenge caught a Timrå RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Tor Kihlberg fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Råå FK's protests and gave Tor Kihlberg a yellow card for diving instead. Råå FK's Nils-Åke Björkkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Kristian Söderqwist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Tor Kihlberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olof Offendahl skillfully saved the ball. In the 97th minute of the match Tor Kihlberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olof Offendahl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 98th minute, Anders Mossberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Richard Hegg, passed just outside the right post. Timrå RK played a much better game than Råå FK and deserved their victory. The Råå FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
