When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Magnusson made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Einar Ahlstedt got free with Ingvar Bergqvist in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Östervåla FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Ahlstedt in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Bergqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Östervåla FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ljungaverk.
