The supporters of Strömsund FK booed when Lerums IS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Stålberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viktor Billing. Lerums IS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute, Egil Bark fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Greger Björnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egil Bark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Arhenius having to make a save. Greger Björnssons short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Georg Arhenius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd match minute, Strömsund FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Valrot to maneuver through the defense. Greger Björnsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. Lerums IS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emanuel Valrot charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Valrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Egil Bark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Bark was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egil Bark was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Strömsund FK's Gösta Näfver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Billing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lerums IS's zone, Gösta Näfver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Billing came out of the goal and Gösta Näfver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Göran Vase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greger Björnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Billing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Näfver in the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lerums IS's zone, Mats Hybbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Billing came out of the goal and Mats Hybbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lerums IS booed when Strömsund FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Arhenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Björnsson in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Strömsund FK's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Bark came free, but Georg Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mikael Dahlqvist fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lerums IS's protests and gave Mikael Dahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Niklas Stålberg placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Strömsund FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
