With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torbjörn Bergfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Bålström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Bergfeldt having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Jens-Åke Larsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Torbjörn Bergfeldt made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Hannes Josefsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Jerry Bålström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torbjörn Bergfeldt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joakim Olofsson. William Fågel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell-Arne Johansson was the one to do the kick off. John Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Seglora's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Jespersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jerry Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seglora's Simon Björk pulled a muscle in his leg after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Fågel during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, William Fågel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Bergfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Larsson in the 93rd minute of the match. If Jens-Åke Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
