Seglora's Stig-Arne Jespersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Wall in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pär Wall was the one to do the kick off. Pär Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Stig-Arne Jespersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pär Wall came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Vagnhärad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Wall couldn't finish the play. Karl-Axel Häger struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Stig-Arne Jespersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vagnhärad. After 77 played minutes Pär Wall rounded Seglora's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Jerry Bålström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stig-Arne Jespersson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Karl-Axel Häger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Jespersson having to interfere. Pär Wall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
