Spectators: 6475 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mean Machine United's Elof Berggren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kristian Felin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kättilstorp FF's zone, Kristian Felin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Backlund came out of the goal and Kristian Felin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Backlund having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Jens-Åke Willig made a precise shot to the right of Börje Hellström. Mean Machine United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Willig in the 21st minute of play forced Mean Machine United's goalkeeper Börje Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine United's Dan Hård got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jens-Åke Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Börje Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mean Machine United's Börje Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Willig in the 26th minute of play. Jens-Åke Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Börje Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elof Berggren in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Backlund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börje Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Östen Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Åke Willig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Hellström having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Kristian Felin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mean Machine United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Felin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Mean Machine United's Elof Berggren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

When Elof Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Mean Machine United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Berggren couldn't finish the play. Kjell Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Felin in the 58th minute of the match. Kjell Backlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Felin's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Alex Bäckman's late challenge caught a Mean Machine United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Bäckman helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kristian Felin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Elof Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jens-Åke Willig came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Kättilstorp FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Åke Willig couldn't finish the play. Börje Hellström went to the wrong direction when Hampus Blom was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Mats Arenius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine United's zone, Jens-Åke Willig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Hellström came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Willig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Åke Willig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börje Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
